Nintendo’s new development building just recently opened

It appears that Nintendo’s new development building (where you can see the official page here) is now up and open! The page, being translated by NintendoEverything, shows the nitty-gritty of the building. It’s located just near Minami-Ku, Kyoto in Japan and is seven stories high (and a basement floor) and takes up roughly 50,000 square meters in total. Apparently, there are about 1000 employees there, too, from Nintendo’s development department as well 100 or so people from the “Kyoto Research Center,” a software development cent in the Higashiyama District. The president of Nintendo, Saturo Iwata, commented on the new development building with “We’ll be interacting more deeply with hardware development, but we’ll also be able to develop integrated software.”
